The resolution of the Poster is allright for printing in A3, and perfect for A4. You still can print it in higher formats, but it might get pixely if you look at it from very close.

There are also the InDesign Files available, for the case you want to edit it. We did not find all of the images from the original poster, so I used different ones to replace them. And sometimes I did not zoom in as much as 3 Tons did, as this would have decreased the quality for printing.

3Ton Gallery made a truly amazing collection of reflections in movie space helmets. There’s only a low-res version of it, but there are lots of requests for a high-res version. I agree with that and want to create one, but I need your help!

Post links to bigger versions of space helmet reflections in the comments here. Once we have collected enough of them, I’ll create a full resolution version and post it here!

But not all cameras save the same RAW data. The main difference between them is bit depth. Most beginner cameras like Canon EAOS 100D save the data in 12 bit, more advanced ones 14 bit, and most high-end cameras 16 bit. Now what is the advantage of a higher bit depth?

For viewing on a computer screen or printing, 8bit is more than enough. Ordinary jpg images have the same bit depth. But when editing RAW images in a tool like Lightroom or Adobe Camera RAW, often more data is needed. E.g. when increasing exposure to get more details in dark areas, a higher bit depth can provide these details much better, as they would not be included in a lower bit depth.

So if you like to extensively edit your photos, it is good to have a camera which can provide a hight bit depth. So get informed before you invest the money!

By defining the target as _top, the iframe will be left and the site will be opend in the parent window. However, as colorbox usually opens and closes with an animation, you might want to animate the closing of colorbox. This is done by a simple JavaScript command:

Light-test.com is dedicated to those light test shoots of photo sessions to test the light and to calibrate white balance and colors. Some of them are quite funny because the people involved know that these shots won’t be exposed to public, but this site actually does that!

Reminds me of when I was developing sets of fashion shots. The model was holding the colour card and making really funny faces. Unfortunately I can’t show samples!
